Problem

The issue of socio-professional integration is a universal challenge faced by all governments. In Senegal, despite the strategies developed by the Senegalese authorities, international bodies and non-governmental organizations, the policy of educational and vocational guidance for young people does little to promote their integration. This is due to the low level of deployment of school and vocational guidance structures (OSP) at delocalized level and the relatively small number of guidance specialists compared to the number of young people who express the need to benefit from guidance services.

Solution

The platform “les jeunes d’abord” is a solidarity association providing e-orientation to young people in Senegal to benefit from educational, social and professional support. It is the first platform to be totally dedicated to e-orientation in Senegal. Through e-orientation, the platform proposes new solutions to move the lines of educational and socio-professional guidance.
